The Magic of Love: Why Does Your Skin Glow?

The Magic of Love: Why Does Your Skin Glow?

True love brings out a person’s inner beauty. Love nourishes the best in us; feelings such as sacrifice, understanding and compassion make a person more beautiful both spiritually and physically.

In conclusion, love and beauty are interconnected but not the same. Beauty can open the door to love, but once love takes root, beauty takes on a different meaning within it.

I have many clients who, when they fall in love, not only gain physical beauty but also skin beautification.

Let’s examine the reasons together;

Hormonal Changes:

During love, “happiness hormones” such as dopamine, serotonin and oxytocin are secreted in our bodies. These hormones help reduce stress hormones (such as cortisol). Lower stress levels contribute to a healthier looking skin.

Increased Blood Circulation:
Falling in love increases heart rate and speeds up blood circulation. This allows more oxygen and nutrients to be carried to the skin. As a result, the skin can look more vibrant, bright and fresh.

Emotional Well-Being:
The happiness and positive feelings that come with love can improve our overall health. A good mood can have positive effects on skin health; for example, less stress and better sleep quality help the skin to renew itself.

These physiological and psychological changes can cause our skin to look “beautiful” when we are in love. However, this effect can vary from person to person. In general, it can be said that the positive feelings and chemical changes in the body that love creates have a positive effect on the skin.
